Thank You for Your Support: The Impact of Solidarity at ICCE 2024

During the registration for ICCE 2024, many of you chose to support our commitment to inclusivity and sustainability through a voluntary donation. We deeply appreciate your generosity and want to share how these funds were utilized.

Thanks to your contributions, combined with funds allocated from the conference budget, we established a travel grant to help participants from underprivileged backgrounds attend the event. While we initially extended the grant to multiple individuals, unfortunately, several had to decline due to personal or logistical challenges. As a result, only one participant was able to benefit from this support.

This travel grant, made possible by your donations and the conference’s funds, allowed a young woman researcher from Egypt to attend ICCE 2024, bringing fresh insights and unique perspectives to the event.

We value transparency in how funds are managed, and every euro you donated was used exclusively for this purpose. Though fewer people benefited than we had hoped, your contributions made a meaningful impact, fostering inclusivity and showing how collective action can make a difference.
